Town Planning Board Website and Statutory Planning Portal Revamped

The Town Planning Board (TPB) launched a new design for its website (https://www.tpb.gov.hk/) and the Statutory Planning Portal (https://www.ozp.tpb.gov.hk/) (SPP3) on 18.8.2023.

The revamped TPB website provides at-a-glance menus and short-cut links so the public could easily navigate and access the latest statutory planning news and information.  

A map interface is newly added to the TPB website and users can easily view details of planning applications/statutory plans within their statutory publication/exhibition periods.  Advanced search and application search engines have also been added to enable more precise searches for information and documents.

The revamped SPP3 has incorporated new map layers, map drawing and measurement tools, enhanced search and map export functions, as well as a swipe mode for users to easily browse and compare different layers on a two-pane layout.

To facilitate web surfing with tablets and smartphones, the revamped TPB website and SPP3 adopt responsive web designs that automatically adjust the layout to the device in use for an enhanced user experience.
